Isaiah Ivy was born about 1798, possibly in Marlboro County, SC, and died after 1870 in Cherokee County, AL. His given name was spelled Isah in some census records, and his surname also spelled Ivey. He married first Patricia Miles and later a wife named Martha.

2. Enoch Jefferson Ivy, b. February 20, 1832 in Marlboro Co, SC? d. November 24, 1904 in Sarah, Tate Co, MS. He migrated to DeSoto Co, MS after the 1850 census and before 1858.

1. Elizabeth McBride December 27, 1859 in DeSoto Co, MS, daughter of Hugh McBride and Blanche Cook
2. Martha Elizabeth Bowling April 27, 1874 in Senatobia, Tate Co, MS, daughter of Charles Boling and Irene Atkins.
