James Ivy
James Ivy (c1800-1850) of Jasper County, Mississippi. He may be a grandson of J1. He and wife Lucinda had 6 sons: Albert, William, Jasper, Newton, Jefferson Franklin, and George Washington Ivy. The families of Albert, Jefferson Franklin, and George Washington settled in the Leon County, Texas area. Albert died in the Civil War. William, Jasper, and Newton are believed also to have died in the Civil War.
