Peter (Mack) Ivey was born 1907 in Weldon, NC. He married Clara Green and lived in Philadelphia, PA until his death in 1982. He was the son of Addie Ivey, 1881-1963.

His Y-DNA is not representative of the Ivey family since it was his mother and not his father who was an Ivey. Addie Ivey was descended from the Peter Ivey family of Halifax Co, NC.
