1. 15 Jun 1809 Lancaster, SC, land - witness: Henry Massy, Robert Ivey,
Zachariah Ivey, witness sale of land from Amey Ivey to David Shepherd and wife
Charlotte.
2. 5 Jun 1809 Lancaster, SC, witness sale of land to Jesse Ivy.
3. War of 1812, Lancaster, SC - 2nd Reg't [McWillie's] South Carolina Militia
rank Private.
4. 6 Oct 1814, SC, private served in Capt. John Montgomery's Company from 6 Oct
1814 to 4 Jan 1815, Mackey Todd substitute.
5. 2 Oct 1815, SC, witness to land sale; Wike Ivey, Moses Heath, and Zachariah
Ivy, witnessed sale of land from Amey Ivey to Jeremiah Cureton.
6. Union Co, SC; estate -- requested money for keep of his mother. Heirs of Amey
challenged, witnesses Whitlock, Griffin, Tracy, Ennis, Adams.
7. 27 Sep 1827, Union Co, SC; land -- attested deed Amey Ivey made to Jeremiah
Cureton for 136 acres in Lancaster Co, SC, on 15 Oct 1815.
8. 4 Jan 1827, Union Co, SC, witness purchase of land by Absalom Ivey from
Freeman Bentley; witness: Zachariah Ivey, James Ivey, John Haney.
9. The 1830 Federal Census has him in Union Co, SC, with two boys between 10 and
15 years of age and two girls under 5 years of age, with no names given.
10. 29 Oct 1834, Union Co, SC, sold land to Fleming Harris for $200.
11. The 1840 Federal Census has Zach and family in Pickensville, Pickens Co, AL.
12. 1 Sep 1845; purchased land from GLO [General Land Office] now BLM [Bureau of
Land Management].
13. 1 Jun 1845; land from GLO [BLM] Etowah, AL.
14. 1 Sep 1848, Winston Co, MS, land from GLO [BLM].
15. In 1853 Elizabeth, Catherine, T.J., and Samuel along with cousins Howell and
L.E. Ivey, are shown in Winston Co, MS. This information is from the 1805-90
Mississippi Census.
